Tradewind Group is a holding company that was created as the investment arm of Island Insurance. Since its creation, it’s grown to encompass a range of companies and remained low profile. To support employee recruitment and retention, a step forward was taken with their brand to convey their values and vision.
The Tradewind Group logo features a progression of moon-shapes arranged in lei-formation, one wrapping around the other. The symbol suggests connection and partnership, a sense of progressive movement and a deep knowledge of Hawai'i.
Early ideas included elements of momentum, movement, water, and navigation.
The website was designed to introduce Tradewind Group to the world, distinguish itself from Tradewind Capital, and attract local talent committed to Tradewind Group’s vision.
