Given the familiarity and experience with Halekulani, SDG was a natural fit for partnering with Halepuna, working with them from the very beginning. From the logo and brand guidelines, to early ad campaigns and grand opening collateral, to print and corporate collateral, SDG's work with Halepuna continues as it establishes itself as a premier Waikīkī destination.

A modern interpretation of Hawaiian kapa textiles, custom repeating patterns were developed featuring the Pohuehue, water and hearts.
SDG developed a logo mark based on Hawai'i's native Pohuehue (of the Morning-glory family). In Hawaiian, Halepuna means "House of Welcoming Waters".
